Terms of Service
Effective 1 January 2026
These terms govern your use of NullVault. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who you are contracting with
NullVault is operated by NullVault ("we", "us"). "You" means the person or organisation holding the account. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. The service
We provide access to our proxy network. You buy prepaid credit, spend it on proxy plans, and generate credentials that route your traffic through the network. Availability depends on the network and on the infrastructure partners that carry it, so service is provided on an as available basis rather than guaranteed.
We do not guarantee any particular IP, location, exit node, throughput or success rate against any specific destination. Pool composition changes continuously.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
- One person or organisation per account. Do not share credentials.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and your API keys.
- You must not be located in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a country or on a list subject to sanctions that would make supplying you unlawful.
4. Acceptable use
Your use is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Breaching it is grounds for immediate suspension without refund.
5. Payment and credit
- The wallet is prepaid. You add credit, then spend it. We do not invoice in arrears and there is no recurring subscription.
- Prices are shown before purchase and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.
- Credit is applied when our payment provider confirms settlement. For cryptocurrency this is after network confirmation, not at the moment you send funds.
- Metered plans do not expire. Time boxed plans run for the window you purchase and stop at the end of it.
- Taxes, if any apply to your purchase, are your responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout.
6. Refunds
Wallet credit is generally not refundable once purchased, because it can be spent immediately on a perishable, consumable service.
We will refund in these cases:
- Failed provisioning. If an order is charged but we cannot provision the service, the debit is reversed automatically. You do not need to ask.
- Duplicate or mistaken top up. Contact within 14 days. If the credit is entirely unspent we will refund it to the original payment method.
- Service we cannot deliver. If a plan you bought is unusable for reasons within our control and we cannot fix it, we will refund the unused portion as wallet credit or, at our discretion, to your original payment method.
We do not refund consumed bandwidth, expired time boxed plans, or accounts suspended for breaching the Acceptable Use Policy. Cryptocurrency refunds, where granted, are returned in the same asset at the prevailing rate and net of network fees; exchange rate movement is not refundable.
Consumers in jurisdictions with statutory withdrawal rights: by starting to use a plan you acknowledge that supply has begun and you may lose the right to withdraw. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by contract.
7. Chargebacks
Talk to us first. Raising a chargeback instead of contacting support results in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of remaining credit while the dispute is open. We will supply the payment provider with our access and usage logs.
8. Availability
We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we may perform maintenance, change plan composition, or discontinue plans with reasonable notice where practical. Network incidents outside our direct control are excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, without refund, if:
- it breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- we are required to by law, by a court, or by a network partner;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, payment abuse, or compromised credentials.
You may close your account at any time. Unspent credit is not refunded on voluntary closure except as set out in section 6.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including claims brought by third parties whose systems you accessed.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. If you object, close your account and contact us about unspent credit.
13. Governing law
Governing law has not been configured for this deployment. Set BRAND_JURISDICTION before launch, a contract with no stated governing law is a problem you do not want to discover during a dispute.
